Ignite Day 1 – Recap

The first day of the Ignite was very exciting. Due to my MCT status, I still had access to the keynote without having been there at 7 am. With a bit more luck I got a seat at the main stage.

This year the breakouts and demos of the keynote were distributed in the hub, which I think was quite good. There were also enough seats at the Hub on screens to watch the transmission.

The topic that will be very much in focus in the future is the integration of all systems and data. Solutions such as AI and Machine Learning will also play a role here. But also the aggregation and linking of the existing data in order to use them more efficiently. Be it for analysis, for better security measurements or for better user experience. It’s hard for me to summarize Satya’s keynote. But luckily Luise Freese summarized it very well:

There was also news from Modern Management, but only a few. On day 2 there will be some sessions, after this, I will publish an article about this.

There were also many innovations in the Office area that I find very exciting. Since this is so much to process here, I would like to refer to the book of announcements. It contains all announcements of Microsoft during the Ignite.
